Finished a little practice piece, just playing around with lights and shadows. Working values, pushing the darks - and trying other blending techniques. I used my softest sticks for this piece, and did the blending with harder sticks. Interesting and fun - it's so important to allow yourself to experiment with no other purpose than to experiment and learn....Schmincke, Sennelier, Great Americans and Faber Castell on AS Colorfix 9x12".
